Shattuckite is a relatively rare copper silicate mineral discovered in the Shattuck copper mine near Bisbee, Arizona. It forms near other copper related minerals like malachite, azurite, and chrysocholla, and like them, its color ranges from a deep, saturated blue to green-blue. This 21" slim necklace features small shattuckite cubes spaced with sterling silver and amazonite gemstone beads. It can be worn as a single strand or wrapped multiple times as a lightweight and pleasing bracelet. The sterling silver magnetic clasp makes fastening the piece literally a snap.

Length: necklace - 21"

Materials:

  • shattuckite gemstone cubes
  • amazonite gemstone tubes
  • sterling silver components and magnetic clasp
  • SoftFlex nylon coated stainless steel cord

Care & cleaning: Clean with damp soapy water and avoid chemical or abrasive cleaners. Use a soft jewelry polishing cloth to clean tarnish appearing on metal.

Generally, the materials in this necklace are robust to tugs and pulls, though care should be taken to avoid hard impacts as the shattuckite is a softer material. As with all beaded jewelry: do not let young toddlers chew on it.
