In Muddy Road two monks are traveling and one helps an attractive young woman cross a river (contact with women considered unwise and dangerous). In the analogy woman:cargo::deviation:rule, considering the woman as cargo ponders the role of deviations to the rule. The simple act of helping a person across a river was a kind act but against the rules for the monks. Taken literally, "exceptional" is forming an exception, but more commonly, we use it to describe an outstanding quality such as showing kindness over strict adherence. The 1" copper pendant features a watercolor design with the analogy, and the design is protected with a water-resistant glaze. The pendant hangs from an 18" 14kt gold-fill satellite chain and lobster claw clasp.

Materials:

  • 14kt gold-fill satellite chain with lobster claw clasp
  • copper 1" pendant with watercolor paper with glaze

Care & cleaning: Clean with a damp washcloth (do not submerge) and avoid chemical or abrasive cleaners. Use a soft jewelry polishing cloth to clean tarnish appearing on metal.

The 14kt-gold fill chain is strong but not indestructible and care should be taken with the pendant. As with all jewelry: do not let young toddlers chew on it.
