Gallic refers to the Gauls, Celtic people inhabiting what is modern France during the Roman period. This is not to be confused with Gaelic, a Celtic language native to Scotland. Celtic people lived throughout Europe and Britain in the Iron Age and mediaevel times, though the language is still spoken in only the fringes of these areas. The design shows Celtic text within a 1/2" pewter lead-free pendant paired with shimmering white organza ribbon. France and Italy are the centers for deluxe silk organza, though most organza these days is made from synthetic fibers such as nylon.

Length: necklace - 34"

Materials:

  • pewter 1/2" bezel with resin
  • organza ribbon

Care & cleaning: Clean with warm soapy washcloth (do not submerge) and avoid chemical or abrasive cleaners. Use a soft jewelry polishing cloth to clean tarnish appearing on pewter.

Both the organza ribbon and pendant are robust to loving hands, but the pendant will slide off the ribbon and could present a serious choke hazard. As with all beaded jewelry: do not let young toddlers chew on it.
