As the light fades over the fields, the misty colors of evening creep under the trees and eaves, like the glowing orange and grays in this 20" necklace of moonstone and gold. Faceted moonstone gemstones are spaced with delicate Japanese glass and fastened easily with a 14kt gold-fill magnetic clasp. Moonstone is an opalescent variety of orthoclase, a feldspar, whose thin layers of minerals create a gentle glow from reflected light. The necklace can also be wrapped several times as a distinctive bracelet, thanks to the ease and strength of the magnetic clasp which makes fastening about the wrist literally a snap.

Care & cleaning: Beading cord may be kinked or broken through hard jerks or severed through prolonged exposure to rough or sharp edges; store necklace flat when not in use to prevent stretching or kinking cord. Clean with damp soapy water and avoid chemical or abrasive cleaners. Use a soft jewelry polishing cloth to clean tarnish appearing on metal.
