In the Zen koan, a man pursued by tigers pauses from certain death to
enjoy fragrant, ripe strawberries in his path. "Delicious!"
The allegory is simple: we are all that man facing certain death and
life offers sweet strawberries, but only if we pause to enjoy them.
The sentiment is reflected in the analogy strawberry:tiger::life:death,
the sweetness of life in the face of inevitable death. The swirling design
is under a glass cabochon on a 1" copper disc pendant that hangs from
a 38" rope necklace made of braided silk cords in shades of green.
