These 2 1/2" sterling silver earrings with dyed red howlite inset stones provide a great way to participate in the "spike" trend without compromising style and versatility. Howlite is a common chalky material that is often dyed and stabilized with resin to increase hardness. The bold red color is a terrific accent with a variety of other colors and styles. These are handmade by metalsmiths in Mexico and feature sterling silver earwires.

Care & cleaning: Clean with warm soapy water and avoid chemical or abrasive cleaners. Use a soft jewelry polishing cloth to clean tarnish appearing on silver.

The earrings are strong enough to withstand tugs and pulls, and the owner is likely to yelp before the earrings will! As with all beaded jewelry: do not let young toddlers chew on it.
