Tanzanite is a blue-purple variety of zoisite, which is a mineral in the epidote group. (Epidote is the green mineral in unakite.) As the name implies, it is found primarily in Tanzania, though it also comes from Pakistan. The gemstone chips in this 20" necklace are paired with strands of natural wood and seedbead glass. The three strands create an excellent collar over tops, with the strands nesting within one another for a cohesive look despite variations in color and texture. Sterling silver toggle clasp.

Cost: $92.00 USD
