The stamp image in the 1" pendant is a section of a teapot, one of the elaborate silver items found at high tea. I found such a teapot at a resale shop and thought, "what fun!". I like tea, and who doesn't love a late afternoon tea with all the trimmings? As it turns out, that plain ceramic teapot mass produced in China outperformed that lovely silver-plated number in heat retention and ease of pouring. However, a silver teapot is beautiful and certainly adds elegance to a table setting.

Materials:

  • silver plated brass 1" round with resin
  • silk 2mm cord

Care & cleaning: Clean with warm soapy washcloth (do not submerge) and avoid chemical or abrasive cleaners. Use a soft jewelry polishing cloth to clean tarnish appearing on pendant.

Both the silk ribbon and pendant are robust to loving hands, but the pendant will slide off the silk ribbon and could present a serious choke hazard. As with all beaded jewelry: do not let young toddlers chew on it.
